Hello !
My name is Marilyn Lee.
I grew up on a farm in South-central Minnesota and began teaching piano while still in high school to my young cousins. I have since earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music Education from Luther College, Decorah, Iowa as well as an Associate degree in Theological Studies from Biblical Life College & Seminary in Marshfield, Missouri.
I continued teaching piano and voice to students of all ages over the next 40 years and it has always been one of the great joys of my life. Along the was, I was also a school music teacher and director of several children's and community choirs.
It gives me great joy to say that many of my students have gone on to win scholarships, awards and earned music degrees for themselves.
In addition to the Trempealeau Music Studio, I am currently teaching piano and voice for the Onalaska, WI YMCA music program.
As a member of Wisconsin Music Teachers Association, I stay in touch with other private music teachers and have opportunity to continue my education by attending workshops and conventions.
When I'm not teaching, I might be singing with Viterbo Choral Arts choir or the UW-L Choral Union, or directing our church choir. In season, my garden and bicycle draw me outside for recreation and some 'down' time.
My husband and I are the joyful parents of 4 adults and 10 grandchildren.
